A judging panel will select the awardees in judging session(s). It is co-chaired by the representatives of organizer and sponsor and consists of representatives from educational institutions, design-related associations and renowned design companies.
The judging panel will select the applicants to enter Final Round Judging based on the design works, presentation video and supporting documents submitted by the applicants in First Round Judging.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the Final Round Judging for a presentation of their portfolio and overseas work/ study plan. Candidates have to bring along their portfolio, documents, certificates and reference materials to the judging session in person.

Awardees will become the ambassadors of DFA HKYDTA to promote the award programme and Hong Kong design and creative industries.
Note (3)
Awardees are required to submit overseas work/ study proposal, interim report and completion report before, during and after the overseas undertaking.
